Gen2 cargo space is variously reported as 14.4-ft3 up to 16.1-ft3 whereas Gen3 is reported as 21.6-ft3 and Gen4 is reported as 24.6-f3 (spare) to 27.4-ft3 (no spare) So I took a tape measure and some geometry to my 2006 and I get the following approx. (Inches/to Ft3) >Under Floor Tray 6x22x34 = 2.5-ft3 Rectangle Under Tonneau Cover 28x13.5x41 = 9-ft3 Cubbie Spaces behind wheels Right/Left (Not under Tonneau)= 2x0.5 = 1-ft3 Triangle Under rear Seat slant (Not under Tonneau) = 41 x (14/16) x 7 = 1.1-ft3 >Total Under Tonneau and near = 11.1 ft3 >Above Tonneau Cover Rectangle 6x28x45 = 4.4-ft3 + Triangle 7 x (28/30) x 45 = 2.5-ft3 Total Over T= 6.9-ft3 So now I am up to Total = 2.5 + 11.1 + 6.9 = 20.5-ft3 (estimated) which makes some sense I believe Gen3 was supposed to be Gen2+1-ft3 Interesting website: Auto-Brochures.com|Toyota Car PDF Sales Brochure/Catalog/Flyer/Info Avalon Camry Celica, Corolla Corona Echo Mark II Mirai Prius Yaris I see that Toyota listed Gen2 as 16.1-ft3 "luggage space" for MY2004/5/6 and then Toyota changed it to 14.4-ft3 for MY2007/8/9 (EU VDA basis is approx. 14.2-ft3) For my 2006, I measure closer to the 16.1-ft3 (above and below Tonneau) not including under-floor, so I am going with that as the true volume.
