Here's part 1: Suzuki Death Watch 1: The Prologue | The Truth About Cars I do wonder if they will pull the plug in NA and/or the US. I personally know nobody who has bought one of their vehicles. I can't figure out why someone would buy their cars over that of their competitors.
They had some interesting niche vehicles in the past, but i agree that they don't have a reason to exist in North America now. I knew people that had Geo Metros and the rebadged Chevy versions as commuter cars. You could beat the snot out of them (necessary to keep up with freeway traffic) and still get excellent gas mileage and long power train life. Their small 4wd vehicles were also good at what they were intended to do. They weren't something JJ Machoballs would drive but they were functional and sometimes their small size, light weight and good fuel economy were just what was needed.
