Hi Everyone, I recently acquired a 1-owner 2015 Prius Five (114k). The car was well taken care of and looks fairly new. Everything about the car looked good to me during my initial inspection. Perhaps I was not observant enough to notice that the turn signals did not work (purchased during the day), which I overlooked because of the good condition of everything else (looked over the engine and suspension/underbody). The first thing that caught my attention was that I noticed the turn signals were flashing at a fast rate (signals illuminate on the instrument panel. As my other car is a Toyota, and I have owned 4 others, I suspected this was not typical of the prius. Naturally, I looked at the turn signals to see if there was an issue and I noticed that the assembly (that holds the DRL and the turn signals) was missing the turn signal bulbs on both front sides. The rear turn signals work as they should. After purchasing two bulbs from Toyota and installing them, they unfortunately did not illuminate. All other front lights work as they should, including the DRL. Next thing I did was check the fuse boxes (the one inside the car and the one in the engine bay). I could not find any specific fuse titled SIGNALS. There were a few fuses that I suspected may be related to the signals but each of these fuses looked good. So my question to you all, what would be the next thing I should look for? I suspect if there is a problem in the wiring harness than that is something that I cannot do myself. Is there some type of relay on the circuit for the signals? Is there a specific fuse that I overlooked? Again the turn signals illuminate on the dash but click at a faster than normal rate for Toyota. I appreciate any advisement provided. If someone is familiar with this, please ELI5. Thank you much, Josh
