Turning off Prius c Two while car is in D or R

    I have a horrible mistake habit when I park my car. I pull the E brake then turn the key in the ignition to off (I have the trim ii that isn't push to start) without putting the car from R or D into P.

    Am I damaging anything in my Prius C by doing this? To the best of my knowledge the car is always in electric mode when I do it.

    ehh.. it'll be fine.. but you should fix that habit.

    Shouldn't be a problem. You won't be able to remove the key without putting it into park, so you're good.
