Can anyone recommend a great sun shade that is fairly inexpensive and available on amazon?

Also, extension cords, yes, no? Shorter the better? I have a short one that I believe is meant for a fridge. Would that work?

    Thanks

:)I've purchased three sunshades for my Prius. First was from one of the auto parts stores. Thin and cheap. I figured the one made for the extra large Prius windshield would be the best. Right size, but way too rigid and hard to handle. The best for me is the Jumbo size from Wal*Mart, about $7.

Extension cords aren't recommended when charging. Some here have used with positive results. Shorter is always better and make sure it's at least 20A rated.

Extension cord 12 gauge wire, mine works just fine, 15 foot.

While it is indeed important to use an extension cord with sufficient capacity, I suspect that the main push for Toyota to unconditionally say "don't use an extension cord" came from the legal department, not the engineering department.

What if I have a 15 amp cord that is only about 4 feet long. Would that be ok?
