I am in the UK and have got an enginer version 5 PHEV kit for sale. It is working fine, still in the car so can be seen working and fully tested. It will be in the car for about another month before my nest project gets fitted. I am relatively new to the phev hobby and was so impressed with the phev performance have upgraded the system to one different type which has a bigger battery system hence the sale. As a guide, before the kit was fitted, my 2004 prius was doing an average of 48mpg in my driving area, south wales valleys, hilly, so not bad. With the kit fitted, i get an average of over 80mpg, and if on short commutes can get over 100mpg, of which i have sustained for over 200 miles, so not just over a short period, alot of those miles in EV mode and the ice only coming on to get to my house which is up a steep hill, somethign i cannot stop. On a flat terrian, (not in the valleys) i can predict over 100mpg most of the time, and with fuel here being £1.35 per litre, a big saving. I can assist with the install too if that is required and show the new owner the operation and upkeep of the system. If there is enough interest from users, i may decide to break the system up for parts, where i may cell individual cells, the converter and charger and bms system.
