Ultrasonic Cleaning EGR Valve ???

    Has anyone used an Ultrasonic Cleaner on the EGR Valve, EGR Cooler, or Both ???
    Planning on using an Ultrasonic Cleaner with purple power on both, but concerned about the EGR Valve part, don't know if there is electronic components in there ???

    Opinions appreciated.

    There is a magnetic field that the black cap on the egr valve protects.

    I would just clean the valve by hand with some bottle brushes.

    The cooler can be cleaned a multitude of ways. Give the ultrasonic bath a try. I have used air, oxi clean, brake Kleen, pressure washer and warm water. Most effective I have found is the pressure washer.
