Hi guys, for a 2004 Prius, is it suppose to have an under the engine cover? I see some mounting holes on the side covers and the small front part, but none which covers the engine. I'm just wondering if it came with one and the previous owner might have removed it and forgot to put it back. My other two cars have it( civic hybrid, bmw 330i). and it looks like the 2010 have it. it would be nice to have, might improve aerodynamics an MPGs, also keep the engine compartment cleaner from mud. thanks.
handel, there is no OEM engine cover for the Gen II. That said, there is an aluminum after-market skid plate from BT Tech that could be considered an engine cover. $299.99 from the PRIUSchat Shop. There are some threads discussing how to install it's and it's benefits which can easiy be found using the search function. Hope this helps.
