Has anyone rewired one or both of the power plugs so that there is power when the car is switched off? I would like to be able to charge my cell phone overnight in the car sometimes. The draw is only 5 watts max, and the phone is fully charged in a couple hours, so I'm not worried about the 12 volt battery running down. Will the dealer do this? Could my independant mechanic handle it? What about doing it myself?
