According to bestcarweb.jp there will be a GR Crown with an upgraded Hybrid Max system going from the current 340 hp to 375 hp. The MG1 in the upgraded Hybrid Max system will stay the same.
Ugly car. As an owner of an Avalon hybrid of last year's vintage, never would have considered the Crown. Hybrid Avalon plenty powerful. Avalon hybrid replaced a V6 Avalon and my wife didn't notice the difference.
Yeah. I was excited that the Crown was finally coming… and then they gave us this weird CrossTour looking thing. The innards look good but the exterior is meh. Also, the interior doesn’t seem to be Crown-level. A Crown should have a better quality interior than an Avalon. It really should be at least Lexus ES levels of refinement imo. (And it is priced higher than Avalon as it should).
