This is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering for those that have up-sized their wheels from 15's to 17's (same as OEM size 215/45/17) if the wheel-wells/ground clearance have gone up?

I want to go up in size to use the 15's with snow tires, but don't want to spend the extra $$$ to lower the car ... yet.

    Thanks in advance!

The different wheel/tire sizes on the Prius are set so the outside diameter is the same. No or minimal difference in ground clearance.

Im on 215/45/17 alloy during the summer. In winter I use 195/65/15 steel. The difference is a quite small, no problem at all.
