Was doing the EGR cleaning and need more time. My car is sticking a couple feet outside my garage and I need to close the garage door. Can I start the car and put it in neutral to move it a few feet? EGR is off, the hoses, EGR pipe.
Don't press the brake pedal, press the Start button 2x. This is Acc mode, press brake pedal, then put the transmission in Neutral. Release the parking brake, if it is engaged. Now you can release the parking brake and push the car. When done, press the Park button, set the parking brake and then press the Start button (without pressing the brake pedal) to turn off the car. No problem, took me a few days to do the same job. Didn't want to rush things and forget to put something back correctly. Still ended up forgetting to tighten a few nuts and bolts. Double check, then triple check everything lol. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
