I have a 2012 Prius 3. When I plug in my iPhone 6 it does not move to USB in the audio settings so I have to manually change it to USB. Then it does not play the music, if I press play on the screen it does not play the music. I have to go to my phone and press play from there for the music to play. This is really annoying and this happens at random times. The volume at 30 was playing extremely low couple of times (at 30 its loud in the car) and after waiting for 15 mins it went back to normal. I am experiencing lots of bugs with USB and Navigation. How do i fix this issue and is there a way to reset the entire system in the car?
Do you have Entune in your Prius? If so, it may need to be updated to the latest version to correct your issues. Also, some people have had better luck connecting via Bluetooth. And, some people have had issues when not using a genuine Apple USB cord. There are multiple posts about the same issue. You may find the answer by searching the posts on this sight.
Thank you. I do have Entune in prius. I will get it updated. I am using the Apple USB cord, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
