Took delivery of 2010 IV with Navigation last week and it had USB/AUX factory installed. Works great but there are no instructions or Owners Manual addendum. I guess when Toyota said September they meant it. Love this car!
Can you please help me. My new Prius IV came with the navigation package and with the USB/AUX factory installed plugs. But the display only shows tabs for: AM/FM/SAT/CD/BT/USB. There is NO AUX tab and my AUX button (on the left side) does not do anything. When I plug my MP3 player into the AUX with a cable -- nothing happens. Do I need to update the firmware? Suggestions would be appreciated. Should I have an AUX tab on my navigation display? A video on YouTube shows an AUX tab in addition to the USB tab. Also, my MP3 player does not work in USB jack -- the system appears to recognize that there is a device, but no files show up and it appears to just be charging the device. It is a Sandisk Fuze. Any suggestions about settings for the MP3 player would be appreciated.
There was an earlier message in a different thread that mentioned similar problems. Check this link: http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...safety-connect-almost-here-20.html#post933881 Apparently there's a firmware update that your dealer may need to apply. Stu
