I have a 2 month old PiP and I've been using the same 23gb USB drive to play music since i have had it. I added a couple new songs last night and put it in this morning. On the 5th song it stalled and has been stuck on that screen ever since. I checked the drive at work to make sure it wasn't corrupt and everything seems fine. I also tried a different USB drive, but when I select USB it only shows that same stuck screen. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas for solutions? I'm hoping that maybe the dealer can simply reset the USB function without any major intervention. Thoughts?
Not sure if this is the same problem I have, but mine will freeze at times when the phone is trying to link via BlueTooth. I haven't taken it to the dealer. Usually I can get it going again by selecting "source" in the upper right of the screen and then "iPod." I have also unplugged the iPod from the USB port for a moment and also turned the audio system off. It hasn't happened enough that I have been able to figure out the exact sequence to use. Sort of like the old "keep pushing buttons until something works" system I use with computers and other gadgets. One thing I have learned is to turn the phone on before I start the car, as the iPod comes on immediately.
