Curious if anyone has used CAN to monitor their actual car data Instructions for Capturing Data from the Serial Port of CAN-View. This could be interesting seeing how data can be retrieved using the ODC data port. What would be really a nice idea is to be able to plug in a USB or ? into the OBC port then take the USB sticjk and use on a pc to track mpg, mph, etc. Progressive Insurance has SNAPSHOT which does basically same thing but records braking, acceleration.
