Nice article. I think anyone in favor of more guns on the street should have to spend a week in an urban emergency room, helping to treat gunshot victims. But on the flip side, I have to say that I understand why gun nuts are so fiercely protecting their assault weapons. Its basically the same reason pro-choicers protect "partial-birth" abortions. No one wants to appear weak, or give even an inch. Sadly, compromise is now synonymous with defeat.
