What is a good tool to use to compress the valve springs on a prius v in order to replace the valve seals ?
Thank you bisco . I was looking for something that I could use with the head installed on the engine . I replaced the head gasket, and wound up breaking two bolts when installing the cam assembly, so I had to remove the cam assembly . I got the broken bolts out of the head using an extractor and a left handed bit . I then had to order new bolts for the cam assembly . I’m going to replace them all with new bolts . The bolts are going to take about a week to get here, so I thought that I could replace the valve seals while I wait, but I don't want to pull the head back off . I don't want to have to buy another head gasket and bolt set .
