I got to tell you I've always experienced mfg estimates to be overly generous as I have never been able to meet the estimated mpg numbers with many other cars I've owned. With the my regular 2012 prius I'm about 200 miles into my tank and I'm at 62mpg. AND thats 1/2 time driving with wife, kid and a/c on. Once upon a time I used to drive a 1999 golf tdi which would get slightly better than mfg estimates but diesel is expensive and the car was small and riddled with problems...riddling problems...you know...the kind even the dealer cant fix. why doesn't everyone just drive a prius?
... So wish that I could. Great going on the mpg numbers. Eventually when I have saved up enough to buy one, ill join you in your mpg ecstasy.
Prius is the #1 selling passenger car in California! Hope this trend catches on in the rest of the nation.
