Easy, there, no need to panic. This is a very short uninformed article. And believe it or not, the worm isn't the first of it's kind; just the first of its kind found in the wild. See also the F-Secure blog entry. Short answer: disable JavaScript (you haven't already?!). If you use Firefox (you aren't already?!), the NoScript add-on works quite nicely for this purpose.
