Virus emails these days generally have a spoofed "from" field. I also got a virus email with the subject line "Re: your picture." It pays to keep your antivirus software up to date. But also never to open attachments unless you are positive about what they are, as a new virus might not be in the antivirus database yet, and could get by your antivirus software. One such got past my ISP and my Norton AV once. Fortunately I didn't open it (never do) and only the next day read about it and recognized the spoof (claiming to be a bounced undeliverable message). Beware attachments, even when they appear to come from someone you know!
