voice commands

    I just got my brand new 2017 prius two. I'm still trying to figure out everything. I have an iphone 8. I can get the car to read my text messages but when I try to send one it says my phone can't do that. Any idea what I need to do to get my phone to send text messages? I've turned the text do not disturb to manual but that didn't seem to help.

    Are you using Siri to send text messages? Hold down the phone button to get Siri. Then use voice commands to send messages.

    You can receive and respond to voice messages using "Punchthru" hands free if both you and your friend have it installed. It is available on Android and at the Apple store.
