Couple of days ago while on highway going around 40mph, initiated cruise control, and felt a mild jerking and VSC ABS (!) warning light came on the dash. Tried with mini-vci and techstream software and getting the following code. Cleared the code but software is keep saying issue still persists. Can anyone have a clue what is going wrong and how to fix it please? Is it safe to drive like this? Thanks
Your braking computer isn't able to judge the speed of the wheels reliably because of a problem with the right front wheel speed sensor. Your intelligent parking assist has logged codes because of the brake system code. The B1423 from the HVAC is an unrelated issue, either with improper refrigerant charge or a problem with the pressure switch or wiring. You can drive like this but things will work better (including the antilock brakes) if you follow up on the wheel speed sensor issue.
Thank you guys for your response. Found the issue, ABS sensor cable was unlatched, hence rubbing against the wheel and eventually one cable was shaved off and disconnected. Although needed to replace the cable, but thought of DIYing and rejoining the cable and used a gluegun to secure the cable again. Cleared the code and all fine now. A/C one probably need a gas refill.
