well sort of...IF we base 1972 model year 2004 Priuses registered in the state with the 2000 population figures, WA state has 34 Priuses per 100,000 population which ranks us 2nd behind Virginia's 47 per 100,000 and just ahead of Ca's 33 per 100,000. although in raw numbers Florida just edged us out for 3rd with 1996 registered. although i do believe that the percentage of Priuses on the road now is much higher now than it was last year.
ok have an update!! the Daily Zero did it again... the numbers posted appear to be figures for 2003... oh well using the 2004 numbers from another thread here http://priuschat.com/forums/top-hybrid-are...4568.html#84568 we now rank 3rd.... bummer but are now up to 59 hybrids per 100,000
