City/State): Wilde Toyota, West Allis, Wisconsin Timeframe given for delivery: anticipated delivery date: 6/15/04 Color: Seaside Pearl Option Package: #3 Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: varies, "3 or 4" I am unable to get any definite information from my dealer as to when I will get delivery of my Prius. They say they only get whatever Priuses that Toyota decides to send them; that the cars are not made or supplied to order. It seems that I just have to wait until one meeting my specs pops out. Of course, I am very unhappy with this situation. Does anyone have any suggestions for me ? Thanks.
Wait? I was on a wait list for a total of three days when one dealer called me and told me that they had a car for me. Supposed to be 6 months. I called another dealer that I was on a list with and told him that another dealer had a car for me. He told me to come see him because he also had one. I bought that day from the second dealer (ex-military)
