Hello everyone, This is my first Prius, and I may get some flack for buying it and I DON'T CARE! See I'm a 54 year old Biker! Not an outlaw type though. Been riding since I was 16 years old, and yes I gave up my Harley and drive a Goldwing now. I live 36 miles from my job and wanted something the would ease the pain at the pump. I started to research the Prius and have realized it is the Best in Hybrid technology. Trading in my 2001 Corolla for my Prius, the only thing is the wait, I have the the next one coming into the dealer. Money down and loan check in hand. I'm just hoping that I don't get caught in the loop with the 500 up charge starting in May 2011. Have got to say when I really started to research the Prius I was really impressed with the results over the past 10 years, and I have to admit the improvements made on the 2010 model was what convinced me to buy a new 2011 instead of a used. I really like the new style and interior on the 2010 and 2011. Anyway I'm glad I found this forum and to say Hello!

Welcome aboard. Hope the dealer is not going dick you around... there has been a lot of that going on lately. Try to get as much as you can in writing.
I have my deal in writing with all the numbers, He wouldn't reserve it in my name until I had the loan approved. Did this with my credit union, had instant approval and went back to the dealer within 1/2 hour and put deposit down on 4/2. They had two coming in, 1st one came in 4 days after, black II, mine is a blizzard white II. He supposed to have the VIN in 2 weeks. guess I hopping to get it in before the 500 increase.
