Warning beeper sounds nothing is on then dead battery

    When I shut car off a warning beeper sounds . No warning symbols just beeper. Everything is off. When I go to start it later the battery is dead. What is this mystery beeper trying to tell me

    Not the fob the battery in that is pretty new. I'll have the 12 volt checked out .Thanks

    The fob has a red LED that should blink when you press a button. The the fob blinks, it's something else like the 12V battery. If that's the original 12V battery on a 2008, I think we have a Bingo...

    Sounds about right. I only ever experienced those shutdown beeps under one of those circumstances. The 12 volt battery. T'was replaced, problem resolved.
