so the warranty on my prius is up soon. I dont plan on purchasing an extended warranty based on alot of what i read. I wish i had gap insurance but according ot my insurance its too late to purchase cause ive had the car for over a year, and still paying it out. Now its just me and the car, from you experienced prius owners- any major tips or thing to look out after warranty periodically that i should know of to make sure the car is running smooth? any tips would be great. thanks
never heard of it. do you mean the free maintenance? and what is 'gap insurance'? isn't that for covering your loan if you total the car?
Tires will probably be due soon. Then it will be various fluids for awhile. Keep an eye on the oil dipstick and air filters. Done the trans fluid drain and fill yet?
i haven't done anything but oil and filters, tyre rotations and a thorough look see every now and again. will need tyres soon though.
