Does anyone know I bought and registered a 2006 prius in TX, and am moving to California in 6 months, if the warranty on the battery changes to CA terms? In TX, its 8yr/100k miles. In Cali, its 10yr/150k miles. Obviously it would be nice if the Cali warranty took effect, but I doubt it. I'm also considering getting a second prius now and get in under the Sept 30 full tax credit deadline, but i may wait it out to buy when I move to Cali in April if the warranty is going to better. That and I wouldn't have to be pay extra shipping cost. Decision, decisions. --- J.
