Here is a questions that may have been answered here already. 1) I am purchasing my Prius from Carson Toyota in Carson, California. 2) Car will be registered in Texas (It goes from the Dealer straight to the lone star state) 3) Which emissions/hybrid components warranty applies to my car? a) The California (CARB 15yr/150,000 miles warranty b) The non-carb 10yr/100,000 miles warranty that we get in Texas
I think the warranty wording mentions something about "purchase and use" in a CARB state in order to have the longer term and higher mileage coverage.
