Given how hot it gets here, I think the solar roof would be a good thing. However, I've only seen cars so optioned in white, and perhaps Blizzard. Not a huge fan of white. Was SR offered with Barcelona Red, Sea Glass Pearl, or Nautical Blue?
It was available with all colours. Blizzard Pearl Black Barcelona Red Metallic Classic Silver Metallic Blue Ribbon Metallic Nautical Blue Pearl Sea Glass Pearl Winter Grey Metallic Magnetic Grey Metallic. White was probably chosen for its cooler properties (to go with the SR package). In addition, some owners liked the contrast of the dark roof with the white paint. Mine is Blue Ribbon Metallic.
Classic Silver with solar roof. But the only reason I got the solar roof was for the sunroof. But the cooling is a nice addition. Although sucking in 95F air from outside is not a whole lot of help.
I've seen solar/sunroof panel Priuses in many colors. Mine is silver with solar sunroof package. The solar powered fan blower is great as it keeps the car cool and dust/pollen out. No need to row down windows.
