Can anyone post a video on how to replace this part? No whirring sound when wiper fluid arm pulled. Also, is there a website I can look for this part?
camel back toyota. once you find the part number, you can check eBay. have you checked the fuse, and tested the voltage at the pump while the lever is being pulled?
no, im not a mechanic, just wondering how easy it was. i can check the fuse, but i dont know how to check the voltage. probably end up bringing it in thanks for the reply, tho.
pleasure. yeah, checking the voltage would be easier than changing the pump. do you have a local gas station mech? might be cheaper.
Yeah, basically it'd be a sand-pounder, if you replaced the pump and it still wasn't working. You want to make sure voltage is getting to the pump. Say disconnect it's wiring connection, and see if one has 12 volts when the stalk is pulled.
I had to replace both of my washer pumps right around 60k. Luckily it was just before my warranty expired and they covered it.
