Quick question: anyone found a way to switch the Prillian window off? No offense, Danny -- I think it's very useful, but I'm rarely an "instant (messaging" kind of guy. I like Pony Express messaging. ) I realize it's probably in our Profile under Preferences, but I haven't found it yet. (Duh! :silly: ) BTW -- posted this with Firefox. Woo-hoo! arty:
as with any java client that loads, the only way to unload it would be to reboot. now if its loading when you boot up, then you need to go into the preferences which would be the ummm 2nd from the left at the top...then again, it might be the 3rd from the right... just use the mouseover and it will tell you which one it is one of the settings in preferences is "launch when i boot up" or something like that. i noticed that the default setting is yes. change it to no then that should do it. changing this wont affect your ability to launch it.
i never saw that window... but i have been noticing my pop-up blocker beep whenever i sign on... that must be it.
to see the window, you must launch Prillian. there is a link in the "whos online" box on the left. the preference icon is across the top of the Prillian window.
When my popup blocker is off, Prillian launches whenever I access the site. When my popup blocker is on, it blocks it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA\";p=\"45567)</div> That did it -- thanks Dave! That's exactly what I wanted to do -- just stop it being launched when I went to the PriusChat Home page. But I was looking at my profile's preferences, not the preferenes in Prillian itself.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jamarimutt\";p=\"45596)</div> I was, even in FireFox -- but I have Java and JavaScript enabled.
