I continue to look for an affordable, used, HW 4.0 Model Y or 3. So far, nothing obvious in eBay motors.

CAUTION: some of the VIN year manufacture are miss identified in the eBay listings. For example, the two lowest priced units are actually 2022 models with HW 2.5 or 3.0.

I'll check Edmunds, Kelly, and CarMax.

• Kelly - $33,491 Model Y
• CarMax - ???

Still too rich for me which suggests claims of high trade-ins may be more wishful thinking than evident in the supply chain.

I verified it is HW 4.0 (check the forward cameras, two are real and the third is a blank.) It is not part of the VIN number and I have found false claims of 2024 Teslas that by VIN were made in 2022.
