I recently started noticing a strange noise coming from my 2018 Prius (about 85k miles on it). It’s kind of a whining or humming sound that kicks in around 25-30 mph and sometimes lingers when I slow down. Doesn’t seem to affect performance, but it’s definitely noticeable. A few details: No warning lights on the dash. Just had the hybrid battery fan cleaned a few months ago. Checked the inverter coolant, and levels seem fine. Happens more when accelerating, but not sure if it’s related to the transmission or something else. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Could it be the inverter or maybe the eCVT making noise? Hoping it’s not something major. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
