Josh causes a public-relations headache for the Bartlet administration by crashing a large sports-utility vehicle into a gas-electric hybrid car. I wonder if it will be a Prius? Should be fun to watch anyway.
I saw a preview for the episode. There is definitely a 2004-2005 Prius in it. It showed up just after they showed an SUV and was accompanied by an ominous soundtrack.
Played the episode on TiVo this week. Several points: I think it was "my" Prius -- i.e., the Tideland Pearl -- but it could have been a Driftwood as well. Loved Josh's response to the salesman's statement that the $3000 over MSRP he was offering was "nothing compared to the $10,000 over other dealers are demanding." "What, so I should thank you for only gouging me a little?" As in keeping with this season of WW, the character of Josh (and other regulars) seemed way off. A Friends sort of goofiness is not really approriate to this show.
