I am looking at a 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-In with 84,000 miles priced at 12,400 (not including sales tax, registration, etc). The car is in great condition and has leather seats. The car (and me) is located in San Francisco, CA. Does this seem like a decent deal?
seems a little high. plug it into kbb.com for a retail value. is it a dealer or private sale? average around here is $10,500., but san fran is probably higher looks like san fran is close to 12k.
Welcome to Prius Chat . Some questions: Have you test driven it yet? Run a Car Fax on the VIN? How many owners has it had? Buying from a private party or dealer? Does it have green or white stickers, or has it not had any yet for HOV access? Sounds like a reasonable deal on the surface . Good luck and keep us posted .
