I think iTs Generation 2. Is that referred to as 'Prius II' ? The used car dealer where I bought my used Prius just replaced the gas engine because it was using an excessive amount of oil. He told me that the charcoal filter in the cover of the air filter housing is full of oil and gunk. How will my car run if I do nothing? Will doing nothing affect the engine? Or the performance and MPG?
Gen 2 is 2004-2009. Gen 3 is 2010-now. Prius II would mean a 2010 Prius with package II since only in 2010 they used Roman numerals for packages.
