So, what happens when a Yukon strikes an Accord head on? 1. Yukon crushes Accord due its height, everyone in Accord dies, everyone in Yukon is grateful to have an SUV. 2. Yukon slams Accord, and due its superior weight, shoves the Accord out of the way. Accord driver is injured, and everyone in Yukon is glad to have a big-nice person SUV. 3. Yukon and Accord hit head on, Accord driver is uninjured due to its unibody crumple zones. Yukon is flipped over from the the force of the Accord acting like a wedge. Yukon owner is trapped in Yukon, while Accord driver looks on. Yukon driver screaming for help; but no one can get them out to tend to their injuries. It closes the road to my house and generally pisses me off at stupid Yukons. DING! DING! DING! If you guessed number three, you are correct. Photo attached.
Yet when looking at the resting place of both vehicles, it appears that the Honda driver may have attempted a left turn into the path of the approaching SUV. Could be wrong, but who's fault was it?
Looking at the photo, I can not tell what happened, if anything (annotations notwithstanding) In fact, it looks very much like an ambulance moving past an intersection (that is the only 'clear' vehicle) with some vague dark blobs parked nearby.. But hey, if you say it is an evil GMC suv.... Uh, can you provide more info like location and a cite of the actual on scene report ie: police report or news report?
MY friend's BMW X5 ran into a Lexus um whatever th eLexus SUV is.anyway the Lexus SUV with a solid roof, not even a sunroof, flipped over and the roof completely flattened. The car looked like a convertible when they flipped it rightside up, except without a windshield or a-pillars. the BMW needed a bumper skin replaced and that was it. It was crazy.German engineering FTW.
