Hello I need to replace my right side low beam headlight The parts store said they have 6 different brands from 15 to 40 dollars What brand is of good quality? Thanks
Are you talking about the bulb itself? Wagner Sylvania Philips ...are all excellent, no particular order. Also each of those brands makes a fancy version and a cheap version- they're all good. other good ones too but those three come to mind. Also be aware that some bulbs are engineered to run brighter- this almost always comes at the cost of shorter life, so pick carefully.
Yep... Just had both bulbs go out within a couple weeks of each other on a Prius I put super bright bulbs in a year ago. I tried to talk reason to the person who owned the car about the fact it's just not worth it to spend twice as much on bulbs that only last a year. But typical nervous nelly insists on overly bright headlights even though she won't even learn how to check her own oil level calls me up once she's two quarts of oil low because red triangle would go on during hard braking and sharp turns. So annoying! Here's the two sets of bulbs I bought last night the orange ones on the right barely lasted a year. We need to work together to find reasonably priced LEDs, as the market for 9003 style LED headlight bulbs is alot like different types of cryptocurrency. As in they're all over-priced garbage with only two truly valuable ones. Anyone have any LED recommendations?
Sylvania Basic Philips Standard Wagner Halogen Capsules Those are the product names for the most ordinary ones- they will last for years and they make a normal amount of light. They have normal prices- the Wagner sold individually can be found under $7. expect $10 each, you can get single or two packs I've seen these Philips for under $10 for 2 Wagner as cheap as $6.80 each
