    I'm going to say its strictly economy and locale based...that being said, in NYC/LI your car would go for an easy $20k on dealer lot assuming its mint or close to it

    Why don't you research Kelly Blue Book www.kbb.com or Edmunds http://www.edmunds.com/used-cars/ or any of the other tools available online for pricing cars. You could also take your car for an appraisal at a place like Car Max.
