A plastic part under my 2016 Prius V seems to have gotten damaged and is hanging from one side (circled in blue in the picture). It is located on the undercarriage, approximately under the front passenger side seat backrest. I would like to replace it but don't know what it is called, or the Toyota part number. Can anyone help? Prius V Undercarriage by SeekingTruth posted Jan 1, 2023 at 12:24 PM
The part is a FOD (debris) deflector to protect the HV lines from being struck or snagged where they right angle to the direction of movement. No idea of the part number
Argh! I have the same problem. Mine came off completely; all that was left were the two fasteners that held it in place. I only discovered what it was when I found SeekingTruth’s picture. I guessed at the purpose of the part and it seems kinda important. My local dealer searched all his different screens and hasn’t been able to identify it. It’s a ghost part! Can anyone provide the formal Toyota name or part number? Thanks!

That’s it! Thanks Max2! I’m off to the stealership to get one. I wonder what that’ll cost me? Regardless, the first one did its job and the roads here in Michigan aren’t better fast enough. I’m sure I’ll take another hit before long.
