    Looks like the previous owner installed something. LO, OFF. A buzzer? Do you have back up sensors?

    I've seen some "glass break sensors" look like that for aftermarket car alarms. Fancy way of saying microphone and then the alarm itself listens to the frequencies most often made when glass shatters.
