What is this?

    This little box with a blue button is attached to the left of the the steering wheel underneath on my 2008 Prius Standard I bought in July. It's wired to something up under the dash apparently. Anyone know what it is?

    Maybe a previous owner wired an EV button? What happens when you press it?

    My guess is that its an aftermarket alarm system valet button.
