what maintenance is a must at up to 40k miles?

    besides oil changes and the cabin filter, what else should be / should have been performed on an 08 prius with 40k miles? i'm tight on money and can't afford to send the car in, but i am decently mechanically inclined.

    The engine air filter is more important (from the point of view of engine longevity) than the cabin air filter.
