2005 Prius 6 disc CD with JBL premium Sound Temp Controls on Steering Wheel Auto Dimming Mirror Nav Homelink ----------- It doesn't say anything about HID or Bluetooth, but I can't find a package that has the above items without HID or Bluetooth.
That's weird... doesn't seem to match with http://priuschat.com/forums/knowled...andard-optional-equipment-some-countries.html nor the brochure at http://priuschat.com/forums/knowled...al-equipment-some-countries-2.html#post612688.
Thank you for those links The ad also said push button start The photos also showed buttons for hands free on steering wheel I now think it must be package 6 (BC)
No problem. Ummm... all 2nd gen Priuses have push button start. They don't necessarily have SKS (smart key system) though, but one with nav definitely will.
just because the ad you bought it from doesn't say anything about HIDs doesn't mean you don't have it. There are many ignorant private sellers and dealers out there. Does your car have fog lights? If so there is a 99.99% chance your car has HIDs. Toyota likes to package things together, so a car with fog lights and no HIDs means someone has added fog lights during the life of the vehicle, which would be very rare. And besides as far as I know any gen II Prius with navigation system means the car has every option available, with the possible exception of leather. Are there 2 buttons on the steering wheel showing a phone off and on the hook? if so you have bluetooth.
Except for 2004 where there were multiple packages with navigation. So I guess it's #6 (BC). If it's an online ad with a photo gallery and it shows a car with foglights, it has HIDs.
My understanding is that if it has leather seats, it's a 6, otherwise it's a 5. My Prius has everything BUT the leather seats, so I've been assuming it's a 5.
Keep in mind the model year. There have been a varying number of packages throughout the year (2004 had 9 packages!)
