Are Prius owners more inclined to be cat or dog owners? Or something else? Time to find out...cast your vote now!
A prius owner needs a dog so they can sit on their shoulder and look like a pirat ... oh ... my wife told me that's a bird they have on their shoulder. A prius owner needs a dog so they can have an excuse to talk to persons of the opposite sex who don't want to talk about the Prius ... hang on ... everyone wants to talk about the prius. A prius owner needs a dog so they can get their face licked in the morning to wake up. That will do.
Dog, of course! You won't see many cats willing to sit in the hatch area. My dog thinks it was made for his furry butt.
The poll is not fair. Nobody owns a cat. You are either owned by a cat, or you rent a bedroom in his house. It's pretty obvious that I am a cat person, but I don't live with one at present, due to my very mobile lifestyle.
Four ferrets. Seems like 'Reptile' and 'Amphibian' could have been one, combined category. Would have left open a slot for 'small animals'.
One dog - Papillon named Gizmo Three cats Five parrots: Blue Fronted Amazon, African Grey, Green-winged Macaw, Meyers Parrot and a Conure. One spousal unit.

2 dogs, 1 MHU (Mouse Hunting Unit aka Cat). The cat left us a mouse present on the kitchen floor this morning. [attachmentid=11987]

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Stev0 @ Oct 14 2007, 11:54 AM) </div> We have two Golden Retreivers. Most importantly, we have a Roomba and Scooba. Last year I promised my wife that I would start vacumming and mopping the floors. She was amazed. Without telling her, I bought the Roomba and Scooba. For several weeks after purchasing them, I would run them when she was out. When she would come home, the floors would be done. She finally caught on, but by then she didn't care how I was doing it. Now if they had one that would mow the lawn!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bestmapman @ Oct 14 2007, 12:26 PM) </div> They do! Its called Robomow and you can get them pretty cheap. About $1500 for the deluxe model. http://www.friendlyrobotics.com/ I used to have some parakeets but they have since died of old age. I don't like cats or dogs but as soon as I get my own place I will be getting African Gray, Macaw, Cockatoo, and maybe some more parakeets.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dogfriend @ Oct 14 2007, 10:17 AM) </div> My dogs have all been MHU. The only difference is they don't feel the need to brag or gloat about it by leaving them on the floor for me to clean up. (Caesar presented me with his "gift" only once. After that, all MHUs have consumed their trophy. And I'm OK with that.) <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Dan-Wolfe @ Oct 14 2007, 09:26 AM) </div> Is she aware you consider her a pet and that she ranks below the dog, cats and parrots?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(05_SilverPri @ Oct 14 2007, 01:31 PM) </div> Actually, it's the birds drowning out the noise from the spousal unit that's most desirable. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godiva @ Oct 14 2007, 01:58 PM) </div> Lol... Good question. Next time I let her inside, I'll ask her.
An English Bulldog (Isabelle), a 120 pound brown Chessie/Lab/Pony mix (Dubs) and an African Grey parrot (Mojo). No cats as they jump over fences and get eaten on the road but consequently have gophers too.
