Why so High tire pressure for such a Light weight car??? Wont it make it harder to stop the car with such high tire pressure? ?
i run 20 at each corner. the traction, braking and handling are amazing, and it is your fathers oldsmobile.
ONLY until one of them explodes because of chronic over-inflation. Stupid is the only word that comes to mind.
When we had the Gen 2, we ran 40/38 both on the original Goodyear Integrity and Nokian WR. Gen 3: 38/36 Gen 4: 33/32 (factory setting) Prime: 40/39
35 PSI Front 33 PSI Rear I have tried higher pressures up to 44/42 and found no significant improvement in MPG over a couple of tire cycles. Tires had to be scrapped early due to the centers wearing out before the sides. So went back to the Toyota recommended pressures above. Tires last much longer. Traction and braking are good, too.
