I am wondering if prices are dropping on some high milage Gen III now. The cheapest I seen on CL is 2011 $4300 with 230K mileage. Are you seeing similar prices in your area?
I sold my 2011 with brand new Defenders and a bunch of high mileage maintenance just done...for $5200. It had 187k miles. The only way people are spending 4-6k on a close-to-200k prius is if it is a newer year (and clean with no issues). Wife currently drives a 2012 Plug In with 222K miles and if we were to sell it I think we'd be lucky to get 6k.
