I was doing my oil change today and noticed oil on my oil filter housing. First time I've seen a drop hanging from it. So I think the leak is relatively new. The car has 213k miles. I took this Pic of the area above the housing and can see where the oil starts kind of, but there's a lot going on there. Is it leaking from where that sealant blobs out?
Typically a timing chain cover leak which is sealed with form a gasket. Sometimes the pressure switch below this pic leaks but this one looks like timing chain cover. This is where mine leaked. Shown after a clean and a short drive. Normally oil was all over the area.
